Strawberry delight

memories within

He painted my lips with a strawberry
Stroked my breasts with a pear.
The juice fell like tears on my skin
Sinking deeper
Awakening within.
Eyes of blue, sugary sweet.
I loved you from over the street.
Obsession called
Thoughts hidden like slithers of sand.
Rippled sensations of joy
Body memory sensing your presence.
Smiling faces,
Judging sounds,
Jaded responses,
Hidden requests.
Frightened, stolen moments
Do you remember?
Do you yearn?
It all lies in the past
Chosen no  recall the passion we had known.
Legs entwined
Hidden embraces
Strawberry kisses, painted between lace
Love denied
Strawberry paintings
Strawberry delight, red obsession while you were in sight.
Recesses, recesses of the mind, pulling at memories
I choose to leave behind.
Gone is the youth
Savouring the story
Honesty is call forth
Leaving the illusion gamble with the loss
Truth is loving
Truth no longer lost
Only memories surround the place of stolen embrace.
